DiamondGlow Facial Benefits and Other Treatments for Enhanced Results

Radiant, healthy skin is often the result of more than just one treatment. While DiamondGlow® facials are celebrated for their ability to exfoliate, extract, and infuse, delivering remarkable results on their own, combining them with other advanced skincare treatments can take your results to the next level. At Thrive Aesthetics and Wellness Spa, we specialize in creating customized skincare plans incorporating DiamondGlow with complementary therapies, allowing you to address multiple skin concerns simultaneously and achieve enhanced outcomes.

What Does a DiamondGlow Facial Do?

Before discussing the benefits of combining DiamondGlow with other treatments, it’s essential to understand what makes this facial so effective. DiamondGlow is a noninvasive skin resurfacing treatment that goes beyond ordinary facials by providing a comprehensive three-step process: exfoliation, extraction, and infusion.

  1. Exfoliation: Wax wands with diamond tips remove dead skin cells, revealing fresh, smooth skin.
  2. Extraction: Next, the wand uses suction to deeply cleanse the pores, removing impurities, dirt, and oil that can cause breakouts and dullness.
  3. Infusion: A customized serum is infused into the skin to deliver targeted nourishment and hydration.
  4. The result? Better texture, tone, and radiance for skin that looks and feels rejuvenated. But the benefits continue beyond there. When combined with other treatments, DiamondGlow can enhance the effectiveness of your entire skincare regimen.

The Benefits of Combining DiamondGlow with Other Treatments

The true power of DiamondGlow lies in its ability to prepare the skin for other treatments. By thoroughly exfoliating and cleansing the skin, DiamondGlow creates the ideal canvas for additional therapies to work more effectively. Let’s explore some popular treatments that pair well with DiamondGlow and how they can work together to maximize your skincare results.

  1. Chemical Peels: Chemical peels are popular for improving skin texture, reducing fine lines, and reducing hyperpigmentation. A DiamondGlow facial can enhance results even further. By exfoliating, DiamondGlow allows deeper penetration of the chemical peel. This interaction enhances the peel’s ability to renew the skin, leading to a more even complexion and a youthful glow.
  2. Benefits of Combining DiamondGlow with Chemical Peels: Combining DiamondGlow with chemical peels offers a range of benefits, including deeper exfoliation as DiamondGlow preps the skin, allowing the peel to penetrate more effectively into the deeper layers. This combination also accelerates cell turnover, resulting in quicker and more noticeable skin renewal. Additionally, the infusion step in DiamondGlow hydrates the skin, enhancing the absorption of active ingredients in the chemical peel, thereby maximizing its overall benefits.
  3. Microneedling: This treatment stimulates collagen production and rejuvenates the skin by creating tiny holes. While microneedling alone is compelling, combining it with a DiamondGlow facial can enhance the treatment’s outcomes. DiamondGlow’s exfoliation and extraction steps clear the skin’s surface, allowing the microneedling process to penetrate more effectively and work on a deeper level.
  4. Benefits of Combining DiamondGlow with Microneedling: Combining DiamondGlow with microneedling provides several advantages, including improved skin texture as DiamondGlow exfoliates the surface, making it easier for microneedling to create uniform micro-injuries. This combination also enhances collagen production, boosting the skin’s natural healing process for firmer, more youthful-looking skin. Additionally, the dual treatment effectively reduces the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, and acne scars.
  5. LED Light Therapy: LED light therapy minimizes inflammation, promotes healing, and targets bacteria that cause acne. When paired with a DiamondGlow facial, LED light therapy can enhance the treatment’s calming and therapeutic effects. After DiamondGlow exfoliates and cleanses the skin, LED light therapy can penetrate more deeply, helping to soothe the skin and accelerate healing.
  6. Benefits of Combining DiamondGlow with LED Light Therapy: Combining DiamondGlow with LED light therapy offers significant benefits, such as reducing inflammation by calming any irritation that may occur from the exfoliation and extraction steps of DiamondGlow. This combination promotes faster healing, especially after more intensive treatments like chemical peels or microneedling. Additionally, LED light therapy targets bacteria and inflammation, helping to achieve a clearer, more even skin tone, particularly for those with acne-prone skin.
  7. Hydrafacial: Hydrafacial is another popular skincare treatment that combines cleansing, exfoliation, extraction, hydration, and antioxidant protection. When combined with DiamondGlow, the two treatments can provide a comprehensive skin-clearing and hydrating experience. While both treatments offer similar benefits, they can help address specific skin concerns more effectively.
  8. Benefits of Combining DiamondGlow with Hydrafacial: Combining DiamondGlow with HydraFacial enhances skin hydration, ensuring deeper and longer-lasting moisture. The dual exfoliation and extraction processes also lead to a brighter, more radiant complexion, while the combined suction and exfoliation help refine pores, leaving them clearer and smaller in appearance.

Scheduling and Frequency

The frequency of your DiamondGlow treatments will depend on your skin type and the specific concerns you’re targeting. Generally, receiving DiamondGlow facials every two to four weeks is safe. When combining DiamondGlow with other treatments, it’s essential to space them out appropriately to avoid over-exfoliating or irritating the skin. For example, you might alternate between DiamondGlow and chemical peels every few weeks or schedule microneedling sessions between DiamondGlow treatments.

Post-Treatment Care

Aftercare is vital to maintaining and maximizing the results of your combined treatments. Following your DiamondGlow facial and any additional therapies, keeping your skin hydrated and protected is essential. Use a gentle cleanser, avoid harsh exfoliants, and apply a broad-spectrum sunscreen daily to shield your skin from UV damage.
