Chemical Peels

Chemical peels improve the appearance of the face, neck, or hands by exfoliating the skin. After a chemical solution is applied to the skin, it exfoliates and eventually peels off. New, regenerated skin usually has fewer wrinkles and is smoother. The new skin is also more sensitive to the sun during the healing process.

At Thrive Aesthetics and Wellness, we use SkinMedica medical-grade products.

Derma planing

The process of dermaplaning involves gently scraping the face with a medical-grade scalpel to remove the top layer of skin. It also removes the fine hairs called peach fuzz, which is dead skin cells. This method of exfoliation – sometimes called a scalpel facial – stimulates the production of new skin cells. Patients can expect a softer, smoother, and more youthful complexion without harsh chemicals, excessive downtime, or pain.

Micro needling - Plasma FB Pen

Microneedling is a cosmetic procedure that can be used to eliminate wrinkles, restore collagen, and lift sagging skin. We produce less collagen and lose elasticity as we age. All of these factors cause sagging and wrinkling of the skin. A wide variety of skin conditions can be treated with this procedure, including loss of elasticity, sagging, and wrinkles.

Microneedling can:

  • Tighten loose skin.
  • Improve & brighten skin tone, texture, and laxity.
  • Reduce, inflate, and plump lines & wrinkles dramatically.
