Chemical peels improve the appearance of the face, neck, or hands by exfoliating the skin. After a chemical solution is applied to the skin, it exfoliates and eventually peels off. New, regenerated skin usually has fewer wrinkles and is smoother. The new skin is also more sensitive to the sun during the healing process.
At Thrive Aesthetics and Wellness, we use VI Peels as well as lighter peel options from SkinMedica.

The process of dermaplaning involves gently scraping the face with a medical-grade scalpel to remove the top layer of skin. It also removes the fine hairs called peach fuzz, which is dead skin cells.
